The third step of our project involved the addition of the final two wooden cabanas, completing our initial vision of having a maximum of ten cabanas at Ruuk Village. These two unique cabanas were constructed with the expertise of our dedicated local carpenter, Sooriya, whose name means "The Sun" in Hindu. Sooriya was guided in this process by one of our sponsors, Roshan, who aimed to enhance the air-space within the wooden cabanas while elevating them on sturdy pillars.

The result of this collaboration is breathtaking. Completed in the first half of 2019, these cabanas overlook the lush gardens and provide ample space for relaxation. Each cabana features an open-air shower area and a private garden, allowing guests to immerse themselves in nature while enjoying their stay. Additionally, each cabana includes its own private veranda and hammock, perfect for tranquil evenings. Guests can check wind conditions and enjoy the beautiful surroundings during their morning and afternoon hours in the hammock, making these cabanas a perfect retreat for kitesurfing enthusiasts in Sri Lanka.
